The Bedrock Under the Mountain Heritage Wine is a blend of 60% Zinfandel and 40% Carignan from a site in Santa Clara County and one of the many outstanding wines in this series. The 2018 is bright and powerful, with lots of fruit intensity, and a stunning beauty. It is one of the more overt wines in the range. Sweet red cherry, pomegranate, plum, spice and menthol lead into a lush, creamy finish. The 2018 is racy and so inviting, it's simply fabulous.
