2018 Atis Bolgheri Superiore Magnum 1er 1.5L

Atis is the ultimate expression of the terroir, its history and its evolution. It is born from the skillful selection of the best plots of our vineyards and our craftsmanship. The Atis label is a tribute to its origins: to the Etruscans, the first civilization in this area and the first winegrowers in Italy. VINEYARD: The vineyards are located in the hills of Bolgheri, on the first slopes of the Segalari hill, in a small valley facing east-west, crossed by the Fossa di Bolgheri stream. We cultivate them with experience, care and respect for the environment, using sustainable integrated viticulture systems. Climate: Mediterranean-mild, dry and windy, this valley between the hills has the coolest climate in the region and the greatest summer temperature fluctuations between day and night. Soil: Alluvial soil, very deep, sandy-loamy with some clayey outcrops, rich in pebbles. PRODUCTION: Each homogeneous micro-particle of the vineyard is harvested separately and processed by hand, with the utmost care and with the aim of enhancing the territorial characteristics of the selected grapes. The wine is aged for about 24 months on its lees in non-new wood with weekly stirring. It is then clarified with a series of racking (unfiltered). The final blending between the particles takes place after 3-4 months in steel. It is then refined in the bottle for at least 12 months under the best conservation conditions.
