2018 Aconcagua Costa Syrah

Dark ruby red with violet reflections, aromas of red fruits such as raspberries and currants on the nose. These are complemented by subtle notes of incense and black pepper. On the palate, the wine is fresh, clear and full-bodied with beautiful spice, with the red fruit aromas dominating. It is a fresh style of Syrah that is wonderfully juicy and accompanies a long finish with velvety tannins.

Recommendation: Drinking temperature 16 to 18 degrees Celsius, open 1-2 hours in advance, decant if possible. Goes very well with roasted or braised dark meat dishes, game birds and mature hard cheese. Optimal drinking maturity is now until 2025.
