A barrel sample of 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot and 4% Cabernet Franc. Deep purple-black in color, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Rubicon shows a beautiful nose of red roses, cherry pie, black raspberries and blackberry compote with hints of black tea, incense, cinnamon stick and tilled earth. Medium-bodied on the palate with a firm framework of grainy tannins, it offers compelling layers of floral and earthy flavors with a long, perfumed finish. An estimated 4,070 cases will be produced.
