2017 Proprietary Red Wine

One of our winemaker's favorite expressions is "yum factor" and this wine has it in abundance! The nose is bursting with ripe, fruity aromas of cooked fig, blackberry pie and blueberry jelly. All of this is held together by a floral ribbon of fresh violets. On the palate, you will find a perfect balance of fruit and acidity. Don't let the nose mislead you; just because this wine smells of all your favorite stewed fruits, it's anything but a mouthful of stewed fruit. Bright acidity and unobtrusive, well-integrated tannins make this wine a pleasant companion from the first to the last course of dinner. You will even detect a slight cocoa aftertaste on the last sip. All in all, an elegant wine that will liven up any meal.
