The 2017 Le Carillon d'Angélus has a medium to deep garnet-purple color and shows notes of warm black plums, wild blueberries and black cherries as well as hints of fallen leaves and cinnamon sticks. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and has impressive freshness and energy with rounded tannins and a wonderfully clean finish.
