Two percent of the Malbec in this year's blend is from the 2018 vintage. The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Mt. Veeder has a very deep garnet-purple color and shows vibrant notes of black currant, black cherry and wild blueberry in the glass with hints of dark chocolate, licorice, violets and cloves. Full-bodied, firm and very fine-grained in texture, it explodes with fruit and freshness on the palate and finishes very long and wonderfully fragrant. Impressive!
