The great passion for their vineyards and the Blaufränkisch grape variety characterizes the Wachter Wiesler family and their wines, which place the terroir and the grape in the foreground with great precision.

Over the past 15 years, the Wachter Wiesler family, led by cellar master Christoph, has built up the family winery, which has been established for several decades, into one of the quality spearheads on the Eisenberg. In addition to certified organic wines, the aim is to produce wines that are as unadulterated as possible and make their origin unmistakable. Both in the vineyard and in the cellar, the special flair for presenting the character of the respective location as precisely as possible stands out. The predominantly used 600-liter barrels or larger make it possible to clearly express the nuances of the incomparable Blaufränkisch terroir. The results are classics such as Béla-Jóska, magnificent Orts Gewächse from Deutsch Schützen and Eisenberg as well as single vineyard wines.
