2016 Philip Togni Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon Magnum 1.5L

The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate is a fleshy, deep wine that exudes richness and sheer exotic beauty from the first sip. As always, Togni wines need bottle age to be at their best. In the case of the 2015, time will mainly help the aromatics to develop, as the tannins are quite soft for such a young wine. Expressive floral and spicy notes will develop with time in the glass, but the 2015 is still years away from reaching its full potential. It will be interesting to see where the 2015 develops over the coming years and decades. Unfortunately, yields have dropped by a whopping 50%.
