For us, the Millesimé Perles de la Dhuy from Champagne Autreau is one of the best and most interesting sparkling wines we have tasted in recent times. A wonderfully dense aroma of apples, quinces and fresh brioche, paired with a wonderfully melting, creamy perlage make this Grand Cru a truly "great" wine. And at this - by champagne standards - moderate price. It certainly doesn't need to hide from its renowned brothers.
