2011 Clos Saint Martin

Rich purple-garnet, dense in the middle, purple shimmer on the outside. Restrained bouquet, while the Grandes Murailles from the same house only exudes fruit, here there are more spicy notes, lots of tobacco, currants, cold smoke, dried Alpine blueberries. Juicy on the palate, almost plump tannins, perhaps this softness is also due to the mild acidity, beautiful, remarkable length. The integral production (fermentation in the barrel) is almost imperceptible this year. A finesse-rich and at the same time classic St. Martin.
