Abreu's 2008 Cappella is perfect for drinking now, as the aromas show the first signs of early maturity. Notes of espresso, mocha, black cherry and leather give the wine its dark, somewhat brooding character. The 2008 is a particularly dark wine with remarkable depth. Strong notes of torrefaction and grilled herbs give the wine an attractive aromatic note and a Graves-like spiciness that is very appealing.
