2017 S. E. Syrah dry

Intense ruby red with violet reflections, bright in the glass. Delicate aromas of black berries, some pepper and violets with a fine hint of dark chocolate and clove. Powerful, full-bodied style with mature, integrated tannins. Very multi-faceted and deep. Well-balanced wine with a persistent finish.

Recommendation: Serve decanted at 18 degrees Celsius, goes well with spicy dishes with dark meat, braised ox cheeks with mashed potatoes and truffles, roasted game birds, grilled roast beef and mature hard cheese. Optimal drinking maturity now until 2023.
