2017 S. E. Merlot Barrique dry

Dark purple-red color, bright in the glass. Fruity bouquet of black cherries, plums and cassis, vegetal notes with green peppers and fine oak notes, hints of marzipan and delicate mint. On the palate, it is very concentrated, full-bodied and very well balanced. The acidity is mild and creamy, the tannins are velvety and ripe. A wonderfully complex Merlot from Württemberg.

Recommendation: Serve decanted at 18 degrees Celsius, goes well with spicy dishes with dark meat, roast duck, grilled beef and mature hard cheese. We recommend drinking this wine until 2027.
