The 2022 Blanc de Noir from the J. Neus winery is a dry VDP.GUTSWEIN from Ingelheim am Rhein. In the glass, it looks like a white wine and only appears very delicately rosé. The nose is red fruity, raspberry, cherry and red currant. The fruity juiciness meets a delicate herbal spiciness. A delicate wine with a captivating personality that combines the appearance of a white wine with the aromas of a red wine.
The grapes for this Blanc de Noir come from the top Pinot Noir vineyards of the J. Neus winery. The light-colored must is extracted using the juice extraction and pressing method and fermented in stainless steel tanks. The Blanc de Noir is fresh and clear on the palate with a pronounced minerality. It also has an appealing complexity and a long finish. A Blanc de Noir with harmony and fullness that is a good accompaniment to food.
