Juicy stone fruit notes, very elegant and refreshing, lots of aromas.
The grapes for the Riesling Federspiel come from the Rossatz vineyards Kirnberg and Steiger. The not too barren soils result in a fruity wine style with typical stone fruit aromas and animating acidity. Fermented spontaneously in stainless steel tanks.

WINE FROM PASSION
When Josef Fischer took over responsibility for the family winery in Rossatz, he initially took his time. He wanted to change a lot of things - but in a calm and considered manner. So he only took small steps at first, but some of them were quite revolutionary: he converted the 11 hectares of vineyards to organic farming, he banned pure yeast from the cellar and only fermented spontaneously. And he crossed out the fixed dates in his calendar for the launch of his wines.
WE OWE THE QUALITY OF OUR WINES TO NATURE
"Riesling is an idiosyncratic grape variety. You can't squeeze Rieslings into a mold, you have to give them freedom," the young winemaker is convinced. That's why he gives his wines from single vineyards around Rossatz the time they need. Only when they have shed their childish fruitiness and youthful impetuosity do they develop the ability to act as ambassadors for the individual vineyards in which they were grown.
