Very fine exotic notes of mango and grapefruit on the nose, some peach. Full-bodied, fleshy fruit on the palate with lively acidity and a lovely juiciness. Long, mineral finish.
Food recommendation: A versatile accompaniment to white meat, smoked fish, hearty fish dishes, game & stews, mushrooms & pasta and traditional Austrian dishes such as Hauerjause & Tafelspitz with Semmelkrenn.

The roots of the Zöhrer winery and family go back 750 years to the time of the Babenbergs.
We work consistently to exploit the potential of the great vineyards, which are among the most important in the Krems Valley. For it is there, in the terroir of the vineyards, that the strength of the Zöhrer winery lies. Most of the vines were planted by the grandfather and father 40 to 100 or more years ago. The focus is on the varieties Grüner Veltliner and Riesling. The wines have an unmistakable profile, are characterized by their origin and enjoy international appreciation.
