Limited Release Cyril Back 2021

A selection from the best barrels of a vintage - this is the Fairview Limited Release Cyril Back. The cuvée of Shiraz (75%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (25%) shines burgundy red in the glass and exudes the intense aroma of dark cherries and plums. Notes of licorice, herbs and pepper lend the bouquet a spicy component. The Fairview Limited Release Cyril Back is full-bodied and well-balanced on the palate. The fruity notes of blackberries and cherries are accompanied by warm spicy notes. The elegant red wine matures for 22 months in French oak and is a highlight in the wine glass in its own right. The Fairview Limited Release Cyril Back is also an excellent accompaniment to savory dishes, game or dark meat. Incidentally, the name of Fairview's flagship wine is a tribute to the father of owner Charles Back.
