The grapes for the wine are harvested by hand. Fermentation takes place on the skins at a controlled temperature of 25-28°C for 12-15 days. Malolactic fermentation takes place in concrete tanks and the wine is then aged in small oak barrels for 12 months. Intense ruby red with garnet hues. The wine has an intense and elegant aroma with pleasant hints of red fruits, spices and Mediterranean herbs. It is warm and round on the palate, with good structure and optimum balance.
