2019 Sangiovese dell'Umbria

Loamy, deep soils are the basis for the Sangiovese del Umbria from Lungarotti. Gently pressed so as not to obtain too strong tannins and then matured in stainless steel tanks, this Sangiovese is a fruity, fresh and light representative of its kind. Intense red-violet shines in the glass, with classic spicy aromas of paprika, pepper and spices on the nose, as well as sour cherry and buttery nuances. Balanced and fresh on the palate with a long, silky structure. Fruit components that are already beguiling on the nose are reflected on the palate, along with violets and well-integrated tannins. Also a pleasure chilled in summer!
