2015 Barbaresco Bernadot 1.5l

An impressive Barbaresco comes from Ceretto from the single vineyard Bernadot (4.8 hectares). Opulent, full-bodied Barbaresco, with soft, silky tannins. Very concentrated and varied on the nose, with the classic aromas of red fruits, floral notes, very expressive, powerful (matured for 12 months in barriques and 10 months in large wooden barrels), but never too powerful, perfectly vinified, intense minerality, remarkable length. This is what a great single-vineyard Barbaresco tastes like.

Recommendation: A wonderful wine. Serve it decanted at 17 degrees Celsius, it goes very well with lamb, brasato, braised ox cheeks, fillet of beef with truffles and stews. It also goes well with porcini mushroom dishes and game. Strong, creamy cheese also goes well with this wine. Optimal drinking maturity 2018-2032.
