The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard La BAM comes from a prime site outside Saint Helena and is a pure clone 4 Cabernet from a middle parcel of the vineyard. It is a ripe, soft, seductive wine with many aromas and flavors of blue fruit, tobacco, bouquet garni and violets. Medium to full-bodied and seamless on the palate, I don't think it can match the 2018, but it's still a rare blend of power and elegance, with a great sense of minerality on the finish.
