2021 Rosé Domaine de Blanquefort

You don't find a treasure like this every day: Carolin Spanier-Gilllot and H.O. Spanier have created their new rosé from some of the oldest autochthonous vineyards in the Cotes-de-Provence. Spanier have created their new rosé. The whole thing is a joint project with the French wine family Tari and was created - well, where - over a glass of wine! The Spaniers and Taris got talking during a dinner at a renowned Bor- deaux chateau. Carolin's French roots, her enjoyment of the 6 p.m. aperitif and her love of the south of France. One thing led to another and a visit to the Domaine de Blanque- fort, Christina and Benoit Tari's Provençal vineyard, was quickly arranged.

Recommendation: Serve chilled at 9 degrees Celsius, goes wonderfully with light starters, pickled salmon, pasta with olives and air-dried ham, grilled or roasted fish and white meat as well as braised vegetables.
