Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay were not recognized by the vineyard regulations at the time and were cultivated for the first time in Sicily at Tenuta Regaleali in 1985. The grapes come from a single vineyard in the upper part of the San Francesco hill at an altitude of 570 meters, facing southwest, with medium-heavy soils of sand, clay and chalk. The wine matures for 18 months in 225-liter fine and medium-grained barriques. The wine is full-bodied and well-structured and shows the typical freshness of different latitudes.
