2020 Istante

The Ist Ante presents itself with a dark garnet red and fruity aromas of dried black berries, plums, figs and dates, some green tea and tones of wood bark, which accompany the wine throughout its long life and underline its consistency. On the palate, the wine is not a muscleman. Instead, it impresses with its multi-layered, juicy structure, elegance and finesse as well as complex, compact tannins and a long finish.

Recommendation: Istante is an excellent accompaniment to game and meat dishes coated in salt, dough or herbs, as well as roasts and hearty steaks. In mature years, it pairs excellently with fine, mature cheeses.
