2019 Palomino Sout v. d. Aarde

As we all know, Palomino in South Africa was mainly used for the production of sherry and sherry-like wines. There are very few of these vineyards left, and this Brakkuil vineyard is one of them. A rare bottling of this grape variety shows the vineyard and the grape variety very well. The wine is pure, delicate, vinous and salty-salty in taste. This wine spent 11 months in 2 x 500 liter barrels before being bottled with a small addition of sulphur. Bottles produced: 1,460 units.
