2022 Iber River Tempranillo

This wine tastes exactly like a classic Tempranillo should, with more identifiable flavors on the palate than on the nose. Black sour cherries and figs dominate with incredible depth, with herbaceous elements providing a counterbalance. The whole is supported by solid acidity and silky but powerful tannins that also provide good grip. The great Spanish Tempranillos are designed to age for more than 20 years, during which time some of this boldness turns into caramel and nutty nuances.
The wine has tremendous body, silky tannins and powerful acidity which, combined with our fruit-driven style, make for a massive and voluptuous wine, but one that also has enough grip to hold its own on your dinner table and sit quietly in your cellar for the next 15 years - if you can wait that long.
