2017 Ried Nussberg Pretschnigg Morillon Barrel Reserve

Prelude of deep minerality. Fine aromas of crusty farmhouse bread crust and hay flowers. Taut and multi-layered. Fully ripe apricot and smoky lemon on the palate. A chalky, even oyster water-like finish focuses and holds the wine on the palate. A great Morillon that seamlessly follows in the footsteps of its Nussberg predecessors.

Recommendation: As a food companion, this white wine from Styria harmonizes very well with a festive roast, but also with saltwater fish, rabbit or goose, making it a wonderful all-rounder!
