2023 Blanco Rioja DOCa

Although white wines are clearly in the minority in Rioja, they have a character all of their own. At Muga, the Blanco matures in new wooden barrels, just like the reds. However, the strong acidity keeps the wine very lively, making it very different from many other barrique wines. Citrusy notes, some passion fruit, subtle vanilla, wonderfully crisp with lots of substance.
