2018 Condado de Haza Reserva

COLOR: Clean and brilliant with an attractive cherry red color and violet undertones. NOSE: Before swirling the glass, the wine shows intense aromas with aromas of ripe black fruits and creamy notes, along with a range of spicy, balsamic and toasted notes. PALATE: A powerful attack on the palate with very fruity roasted notes and a creamy texture. The tannins are well accentuated and the acidity is perfectly integrated. Rich aromas of black fruits (blackberries and cherries) reappear on the finish. The oak flavors blend well into the overall picture, conveying a sense of toast, smoke and spice, the characteristic expression of a wine aged in French oak, along with sweet notes of roasted coffee beans and cocoa. This wine has power and structure, but also elegance and complexity. Long finish.

Recommendation: Serve at 12-14 degrees Celsius. Excellent with grilled meat, stews or chocolate desserts.
