2017 Corimbo I

Corimbo I 2017 presents a deep red cherry color with a red rim. Its intense bouquet reveals ripe black fruits, dried aromatic herbs and mineral notes that mingle with hints of aniseed, tobacco and cocoa. On the palate, it offers a full-bodied experience which, in addition to the black fruits, also reveals the sweet notes of a warm vintage and the characteristic freshness of Corimbo I. Fine tannins contribute to its elegance, while a pleasant hint of freshness enhances its appeal, reminiscent of a concentrated consommé. Despite challenges such as late frosts and warm, dry conditions, this vintage embodies the essence of the 2017 harvest in the Ribera del Duero.

Recommendation: A great wine decanted with spicy meat dishes, such as grilled steaks with herb butter or braised meat and strong cheese.
