Ruby ports are the actual pure, classic form of port wine. They are only matured for a relatively short time (approx. 2 years) in large vats and are then bottled directly, which allows them to retain much of their strong ruby red (hence the name) color. Even the "small" Ruby from the famous traditional house of Fonseca is great cinema!
