The Pinot Noir Winemakers Reserve Marlborough - Babich shines in a deep ruby red. The bouquet reveals black cherry, floral hints with fine violet blossoms and delicate spicy notes, as well as forest floor. Lots of fruit on the palate with aromas of plum and oriental spices. Dark forest berries with a fine tannin structure also come to the fore. The body has plenty of power and volume. The long finish is carried by a unique blackberry note.
Recommendation: Serve decanted at 16-18 degrees Celsius. Goes very well with dishes with dark meat, e.g. roast duck breast, roast beef, fine game birds or grilled vegetables with strong sauces. Ripe raw milk cheese also goes very well with this wine. Optimal drinking maturity now until 2028.
