2020 Pinot Noir Sta. Rita Hills

The 2020 is rich and beautifully concentrated from top to bottom. Deep, vibrant flavors of red fruits and baking spices characterize the palate, which is supple, serious and wonderfully fresh. This wine is best paired with light or savory dishes, and while it's charming now, it will continue to improve over several years.

NOTES FROM THE WINEMAKER

The Sanford Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir is always a blend of our winery's two vineyards: the historic Sanford & Benedict Vineyard (44%) and La Rinconada (56%). These unique vineyards are located in the heart of the Sta. Rita Hills appellation. A wide range of Pinot Noir varieties are grown on these sites, and this wine is a blend of 8 of these varieties from different soil types.
