2015 Lessona

Fresh garnet red and a rather restrained, cool aroma spectrum open with a great deal of understatement the very powerful and spicy taste experience at the first sip, which however never appears muscular or meaty, but rather expands with constant, medium pressure and a cornucopia of ripe fruit in the mouth. Here and on the finish, the Lessona-style Nebbiolo comes into its own - unlike Barolo or Barbaresco, with more restraint and a depth that only reveals itself after some time.
