2011 Barolo Prapò

Intense garnet red, fully ripe aromas of dried plums, morello cherries and a hint of dark chocolate, tobacco and clove. The wine has an excellent structure on the palate and elegance that accompanies the long finish.

Recommendation: Drinking temperature 16-18 degrees Celsius, open 1 -2 hours before serving, please decant. Goes very well with dark meat dishes, e.g. roast fillet of beef with chanterelles and red wine butter, braised dishes and fine game birds. Hard cheese made from raw milk or aromatic semi-soft cheese also goes very well with this wine. Optimal drinking maturity is now - 2028.
