As the successor to her father Armin, Caroline Diel has established a new style at Diel, not least with the Burgundy varieties. The wines are drier, more elegant and of an international format, influenced by the Burgundian models. In recent years, it was thought that Armin Diel had set quality standards with his wines, and not just on the Nahe, but his daughter deserves all the more credit for having managed to refine this style of wine even further.
