2019 Anno 1693

Color Bright ruby red. A perfect, powerful blend of ripe berries and ripe fruit with cigar box spice on the nose and a hint of mint.
Red and black cherries and juicy ripe red and black fruits on the palate, finding perfect harmony with well-integrated leather and old spice for a full, balanced flavor. This wine is pure elegance and finesse with a long, velvety aftertaste. The Anno 2019 red wine illustrates the positive contribution of intensive viticulture during a dry and warm summer. A wine that is perfect to enjoy now and will improve greatly with further ageing in the bottle.
Matured in small French oak barrels for 14 months. Prior to release, the wine was aged in the bottle for 38 months. This wine will age well over the next 15+ years with proper cellaring.
