2020 Saffredi Maremma Toscana

The cuvée consists of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% each of Merlot and Petit Verdot. The wine was matured for 18 months in French barrique barrels, 70% of which were first fill. Saffredi impresses in the glass with its deep ruby red color. A complex bouquet rises to the nose, with hints of blueberries, cassis, black cherry, sweet spices and tobacco. Harmonious and well-balanced on the palate, with a dense and well-integrated tannin structure that demonstrates great finesse.
