2018 Poggio Valente Toscana Rosso 6.0L

This Sangiovese project for the Poggio Valente Rosso was started on a grandiose cru site that has been owned by Fattoria Le Pupille since 1996. In just a few years, this wine has become an expression of the Maremma terroir. A bright ruby red in the glass, the nose is complex and dense with notes of Marasca cherry, tobacco, forest floor and fine spicy notes. Compact, round and elegant on the palate with a fine tannin structure, notes of blackberry and cherry also linger on the finish.
