Pleasing, attractive ruby red with an orange tint. On the nose, it combines the aroma of toasted wood with a noble fruity character. Hints of tobacco, chocolate, cocoa, roasted notes and fragrances. This makes it full-bodied, powerful and elegant on the nose with a strong personality. Gentle, elegant and spirited on the palate. Hints of dark plums in stewed fruit with dates give this wine fullness and structure.

Recommendation: Decant about 45 minutes before serving and serve at 14-16 degrees Celsius. Goes very well with roast lamb and suckling pig, braised dishes with red meat and small game such as pheasant with plums.
