Taurasi Riserva is a multi-layered, mature red wine made from the Aglianico grape variety. The vines in the Paternopoli region from which this wine comes are 150 years old. The very small production matures after a 25-day maceration in acacia wood barrels.
Recommendation: The wine goes well with grilled dishes of all kinds, dark meat, well-aged cheese, pizza/pasta/casseroles and hearty game dishes.
