This high-quality indigenous grape variety originally comes from the area around Syracuse and is now grown all over the island. It is the most internationally renowned grape variety in Sicily. The grapes for Feudo Arancio Nero d'Avola are harvested with the utmost care. Fermentation takes place on the skins for 6 days at a controlled temperature of 22 degrees. The wine matures in barriques for 6 months. Color: Ruby red Bouquet: Typical aroma of red fruit Taste: Soft and delicate with a medium body. Subtle notes of wild berries.
Recommendation: Ideal with risotto, gratinated pasta, lasagne, red meat, game, lamb and spicy cheeses.
