Sciaranuova, one of the 4 regions where we live and work, is located at an average altitude of 730 meters above sea level between the hamlet of Montelaguardia and Passopisciaro. The area covers 14.40 hectares, of which 4.9 hectares are vineyards. It is characterized by terraces with dry-stacked walls and more than 7 hectares of chestnut grove. The morphology, which slopes from south-east to north-east, has an average gradient of 8.5% and the area in which the Contrada Sciaranuova vineyards are located is characterized by volcanic formations that are between 4,000 and 40,000 years old.
