VARIETIES: field blend from the single vineyard Campo Giardino 1.1068 ha, with 30 black berry varieties, old local and from other Mediterranean areas. LOCATION: among the hills of Bolgheri, on the first slopes of the Segalari hill, in a small east-west valley crossed by the Fossa di Bolgheri stream. We cultivate it with wisdom and care, using integrated and sustainable viticultural systems. CLIMATE: Mediterranean-mild, dry and windy. Between the hills, the climate is the coolest in the area, with large temperature variations between day and night. SOIL: Alluvial soil, very deep, sandy-loamy, with some clay outcrops, rich in pebbles. PRODUCTION: The vineyard is harvested in several passes, depending on ripeness. Each batch of grapes is fermented together, creating a unique synergy. The wine is then reconstituted while preserving the identity of the vineyard. Vinification is carried out by hand, with the utmost care and with the aim of enhancing the territorial characteristics of the selected grapes. Maturation takes place for about 2 years in unused wood on fine lees with weekly stirring. It is clarified with a series of racking (unfiltered). It is stored in the bottle for at least 1 year under the best storage conditions.
