2017 Vin de France Odyssey

Sweet black fruits, cinnamon and hints of fig and garrigue make this a deliciously approachable wine. The tannins of Grenache and Cabernet work well together, and the addition of Cournoise in this vintage is welcome as it adds an extra layer of freshness and distinction to the wine. 2017 was also a more successful vintage in the Rhône than in Bordeaux, and the rich fruit and depth of the wine is evident overall. 3.56pH. From the winemaking duo Pierre Graffeuille of Léoville Las Cases and Matthieu Dumarcher, specialist in organic Côtes du Rhône.
