2020 Braide Grande Pinot Grigio

VINEYARD: Braide Grande in the locality of Ruttars in the municipality of Dolegna del Collio TYPE OF SOIL: MERGEL AND CLAY VARIETY ù Pinot Grigio. GROWING SYSTEM ù Capuchin and Guyot. VINIFICATION AND VINIFICATION: The grapes are harvested entirely by hand in crates, with cold maceration in a horizontal press for eight hours and subsequent cleaning of the must. Fermentation takes place 30% in Allier barriques and 70% in steel vats at a controlled temperature of 10 €C. At the end of fermentation, the resulting product is not decanted and is therefore left to mature in the same vats for around eight months at a constant temperature. At the end of this period, the final blending takes place, followed by bottling and further ageing in the bottle before the wine is marketed. ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS: Intense straw yellow color, a bouquet reminiscent of spices and flowers, dry, full, almost wild, with an aftertaste of nutmeg.
