The 2017 Lassegue displays a deep garnet-purple color and a fairly spicy nose that exudes notes of black pepper, cinnamon and cloves over a core of crème de cassis and preserved plums with a hint of dusty earth. The palate is medium to full-bodied with a firm framework of chewy tannins and an abundance of black fruit layers that finish long and spicy.
