Open and playful on the nose, lively and fresh on the palate, light-bodied and well-balanced; beautiful drinking flow with elegant fruit aromas. The name Federspiel comes from falconry, which was very popular in the Wachau. The falcon symbol stands for the racy elegance of these dry white wines. Best drunk cool at around 8°C, i.e. fresh from the fridge. For ideal drinking pleasure, the wine should be enjoyed young, preferably within a year. Perfect as a summer terrace wine, with salads, starters and many barbecue dishes.
