2022 Cuesta del Herrero - Vino de Pago- Organic

Smoky notes and fine wood on the nose, iridescent fruit notes of cherry and blackberry as well as fine spicy-herbal aromas on the palate, power and complexity, with captivating elegance on the finish.

The vines for Cuesta del Herrero grow in coarse clay soils with a high calcium content. This gives the grapes a natural freshness. The grapes are harvested exclusively at night and undergo cold maceration beforehand. Tempranillo and Merlot are fermented together, as are Garnacha and Cabernet Sauvignon. The grape must then underwent malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels for a total of 6 months.
